This was the point that the house really started to take shape and become what we have seen in our minds. Framing pack was delivered and off we went. Last wall to go up was the big rack vaulted wall in Dad and Mom’s front room. It was a big wall and took us some time to ensure we were safe.
Speaking of safe we used wall jacks. They are fairly cheap and enabled two guys to raise walls as big as 9′ tall and 42′ long. Many guys would build these in sections but because we had the jacks it was all one assembly and went great.
