I have to say this, framing has been my favorite part of the build. I love building with wood! To build something is a very primal thing. Measuring (twice), cutting once, mating two pieces together with a nail and standing up another wall. Piece by piece the walls come together and a plan comes to life. Something great about a floor plan so quickly coming together. The following shows a bit of each of our spaces coming together.
Make sure to purchase the best possible wood pack you can get. It makes for better lumber (stronger), straighter and a better structure. It may be a surprise but Home Depot was our best option and cheapest as well. Make sure to get multiple bids to ensure the best outcome for you and your home.
